GREEN, GREEN and More GREEN...
"In The Raw" was established back in 2003 when GREEN wasn't all the rave. However, we have always been into our environment and what we can do to save this beautiful earth, When "in the raw" was created, I knew I wanted to use only renewable resources and recyclable materials. So let me tell you what we did to make this happen...
1st we use recycled papers to create all our labeling...
2nd we made sure our plastics were made here in the US and were 100% recyclable including the pump...
3rd our glass is imported from Italy where it is made by hand and shipped to us across the water by boat...
4th all our materials are purchased from local growers and made here close to home to save on emissions...
5th we give back to many charities big and small all year long... our clients get to put their two-cents in too...by going to our site www.shopintheraw.com you can suggest a charity that you would like us to contribute to and guess what we will...
Practice what you preach, our staff and facility is as green as we can be... we use compact fluorescent light bulbs, we recycle more than we throw away, we use re-usable rags instead of paper towels, we use filtered water instead of plastics and most importantly we are open to new ideas that will help the environment...
